Sarabeth wrote Kathryn & Elizabeth Go Shopping as a way of introducing basic but vital financial principals to children.  In her work at Family Credit Management, one of the nation’s leading credit counseling agencies, she witnessed countless adults who had never been given the proper skills to succeed financially. It is her mission, and the mission of everyone at Family Credit Management, to educate our youth so they might avoid many of the hardships their parents have been faced with.

 

Sarabeth graduated from West Virginia University with a Master of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. She also graduated with honors from Concordia University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management.She is a Certified Personal Finance Counselor through the Center for Financial Certifications and certified as a Consumer Reporting Interviewer through the Consumer Data Industry Association. 

Sarabeth and her husband, Michael, reside outside Chicago with her step-daughters, the real Kathryn and Elizabeth, and her son, Gordon.

Jennifer has always loved art and storytelling, so becoming an illustrator was a natural career path. She has been trained in media ranging from figure drawing to virtual reality, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with highest distinction from the honors division of Indiana University. During her professional career, Jennifer worked as a graphic designer and then as a creative director before finding her artistic niche illustrating children’s books. In addition to artwork, she enjoys reading, cooking, and ballroom dancing. Jennifer lives in Indiana with her family.

Jennifer is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators and is represented by MB Artists.
